You will lead business development across the state, identifying, engaging and winning opportunities in retail fit-outs, A&D specifications and commercial lighting projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors and national retail brands to deliver tailored, energy-efficient lighting solutions that exceed expectations. The role offers significant scope and autonomy, backed by an established brand, high-quality product range and a strong national team. It is ideal for an experienced lighting professional who can combine technical knowledge with commercial skill and relationship strength to build a successful state operation. Your Experience Minimum 10 years in the lighting industry across distribution, specification or project lighting. Well-established relationships within Queensland’s retail fit-out, architectural and commercial sectors. Proven record of driving sales growth and securing specification or design-led opportunities. Commercially sharp, confident communicator and trusted relationship builder. Brisbane-based (Gold Coast considered). Backgrounds in heavy industrial, mining or street lighting are not suitable for this role. Your success will be rewarded by way of a highly competitive base salary in the $140k - $160k range Super C/A STI. As a high performer we understand you will be able to make $200k - $300k or even higher.
