The Role: The Principal Networking Technology Sales Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving growth across networking, security, and data centre portfolios. You’ll work closely with Client Managers, pre-sales architects, and vendor partners to design and deliver transformative solutions for major enterprise and public sector clients. Lead solution sales across routing, switching, firewall, and SD-WAN technologies. Build new relationships and expand business within existing strategic accounts. Partner with C-level stakeholders to understand challenges and present tailored solutions. Drive the full sales cycle – from prospecting and proposal through to negotiation and closure. Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to ensure client success. Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast using structured sales methodology and CRM discipline. Ideal Candidate: 8 years of solution or technology sales experience within networking, managed services, or systems integration. Strong technical understanding of Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Juniper networking solutions. Proven ability to manage long-cycle, complex enterprise deals. Excellent relationship builder with strong commercial and communication skills. Strategic thinker who thrives in consultative, high-trust client environments. Australian Citizen with NV1 Security Clearance (required for Canberra-based work). Why This Opportunity?
