About the role An exciting new opportunity has come available to join ARRCS APY Lands team as their Grounds (and Driver) Officer . This position is being offered on a casual basis is on an hourly rate of $29.53 - $31.81 / hour gros s (dependent on skills and experience) 25% casual loading. This role will primarily see you providing grounds and basic maintenance support around our aged care facility and residences, and if required ad hoc driving / delivery needs. This role is to provide support to our Tjilpiku Pampaku Ngura Aged Care facility located in Pukatja within APY Lands. As the successful candidate, you will ideally have previous experience in a grounds and maintenance role. You will be comfortable completing manual tasks and if required able support driving a standard work vehicle. Previous experience in gardening, lawn maintenance and use of gardening equipment. Strong communication skills. Comfortable working with and interacting with our elderly residents with respect and dignity. Committed to be a reliable person who is ready and willing to complete shifts. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proactive work ethic with strong problem-solving skills.
