PEER, in partnership with the Commonwealth and South Australian Governments and TAFE SA, is excited to bring the Shipbuilding Employment Pathways (SEP) Pilot Initiative to South Australia. SEP is designed to increase Australia's skilled labour in critical trades within the nuclear-powered submarine, naval shipbuilding, and sustainment enterprises. You’re punctual, well-presented, reliable and are committed to completing a 4-year apprenticeship. Health and Safety is important to you, you’re a great team player, enjoy problem solving and have a sound level of computer skills, literacy, and numeracy. A Certificate ll in Engineering Pathways is desirable but not essential. About the Role : This 4-year Apprenticeship offers you nationally accredited training, awarding you upon successful completion, a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication. This program will be delivered through the PEER Group Training Organisation (GTO) in collaboration with TAFE SA (Regency Park) with apprentices hosted at BAE Systems Osborne. You will be mentored and supported every step of the way. PEER have a dedicated Apprentice and Trainee Supervisor who will support you throughout your apprenticeship.
