Job Title: Maintenance Officer. Location: Grafton, Northern Rivers Area. We’re currently seeking experienced Maintenance Officer to join our expanding team. The Role: As a Maintenance Officer , you will deliver exceptional maintenance and repairs to ensure our village facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming for residents. Key Responsibilities: Routine preventative tasks as well as responsive maintenance, contributing to a high standard of upkeep across buildings, gardens, and equipment. Complete general repairs including door and lock repairs, painting, gutter cleaning, basic concreting, minor roofing tasks, and "handyman" work. Undertake preventative maintenance to maintain assets at agreed service levels. Keep tools and equipment in safe working condition. Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and safety procedures followed. You work methodically, stay calm under pressure, and interact with empathy and respect. You will also need: Valid police check from the last 12 months / NDIS check. A basic understanding of maintenance, tools, and materials (a certificate in maintenance or a related discipline is preferred). A current NSW Driver's Licence. Sound computer skills - Word, Excel, and Outlook. A practical, safety-conscious approach and willingness to follow procedures.
