They are now seeking a Senior Bookkeeper with strong tax knowledge to join their supportive team. This newly created role will see you working alongside a team of bookkeepers and supporting tax accountants across a wide variety of clients. You will be responsible for bookkeeping functions through to the compliance stage, including preparation of tax accounts, reconciliations, BAS, and assisting with client records. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years’ bookkeeping experience with a solid background in tax compliance. Candidates with a minimum of 3 years’ Australian tax experience on a Queensland regional visa will also be considered, provided they have a clear pathway to permanent residency. Preference will be given to applicants based in the Hervey Bay, Maryborough or Fraser Coast areas.
