About your role As the Advanced Clinical Leader - Speech Pathology, you will provide high-level clinical expertise and professional leadership across the Child and Youth Mental Health Service. Key responsibilities include: Delivering advanced clinical services for complex cases across multiple sites. Providing professional governance and supervision to Speech Pathologists and allied health staff. Leading quality improvement and research initiatives to enhance patient care. Overseeing workload management, workforce planning, and service reporting. Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Representing Speech Pathology within interprofessional networks and strategic discussions. About you You are a confident clinical leader and passionate advocate for excellence in communication and mental health care. You will have: Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia. Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in assessment and treatment of complex clients. Proven leadership in supervising and developing professional teams. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement, research, or service redesign initiatives. Ability to manage operational priorities, staffing, and workload allocation. Current Class C driver's licence and ability to work across multiple Metro South sites.
