This is a hands‑on role involving survey flying, transporting field crews and equipment to remote locations across Australia, and operating technical instruments. The role will include flying our GA8 and Cessna 172 aircraft. The role will initially be offered on a casual basis, with the intention to transition to full‑time for the right candidate. Key Requirements Current Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL‑A). Minimum 500 flying hours. Night flying experience highly regarded. Must already live close to Byron Bay (including Ballina, Lismore, Gold Coast region). Relocating applicants will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Safely transport crew and equipment to remote or hard‑to‑reach locations. Conduct pre‑flight planning, risk assessments, and aircraft inspections.
