Job details User Interface Designers guide the research, selection, design and implementation of user interfaces. Key duties and responsibilities The UX/UI Designer will produce the following deliverables: User Research & Insights Conduct user research using surveys, interviews and usability testing to understand user needs, behaviours and pain points. Evaluate user feedback to iteratively improve designs. Design Artefacts Create wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes and user flows to communicate interaction and design ideas. Develop and maintain a design system aligned with accessibility and government standards. Accessibility Compliance Resolve accessibility issues and ensure compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Interface Development Design and iterate user experiences for both mobile and web platforms. Provide detailed UI specifications for implementation by developers. Usability Testing Test early designs with users to validate usability and functionality. Conduct beta testing and refine designs based on feedback and performance against objectives. Collaboration & Agile Delivery Work closely with product managers, business analysts and developers in agile sprints. Participate in co-design sessions and sprint reviews to align design with user and business goals. Documentation Produce user journey maps, design rationale and accessibility reports. Contribute to training materials and support documentation for internal teams. Highly Desirable Criteria Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
