About Us: Abbotsford Dental is a boutique dental practice committed to high quality dental care. We are seeking an experienced dental technician to head our in-house laboratory. This job offers the opportunity to be a part of a friendly team and stay up to date with the latest lab technology. The Role: This role involves: Producing high quality dental prosthetics such as crowns, mouthguards and dentures according to treatment requirements and dentist specifications Utilise specialised tools, equipment, and computer-aided design systems to produce precise and high-quality dental restorations Modify, repair, and polish dental prostheses Manage laboratory processes, including material preparation, equipment upkeep, and adherence to safety and quality control procedures Maintain detailed records of cases, materials, and work performed in accordance with in-house laboratory requirements What we are looking for: The successful candidate must have: A minimum of 2 years experience as a dental technician Qualification relevant to dentistry and/or dental technology is preferred Excellent time management Good problem solving skills Remuneration: Salary is $76,515 plus superannuation for a 38 hour week.
