Job Description Summary Field Operations Region Manager does have the direct responsibility & accountability for commissioning & Installation site operations / execution, i.e. EHS performance, resource management, receiving, I&C, SCADA and site major operations, from the proposal phase through customer acceptance. Job Description Essential Responsibilities - Leadership on EHS culture change and execution rigor - Definition of budgets for project execution - Responsible for resource fulfilment on time, trained as well as define resource strategy (Installation & Commissioning staff ) to Regional and International leadership team - Review of Project Contracts. - Document lessons learned from sites. - Strong cooperation with project management, Field Ops COE's and service regions/areas - Review of project daily reports, issues and progress. - Support ITO with project walks and support for estimating process. - Foster a team environment to facilitate success, focus on Safety, quality, deliveries and cost on field operations. - Support the timely mechanical completion and commissioning / SCADA of all projects. - Support on all crane and rigging technical information. - Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, process discipline and digitization tools to optimize site performance.-Support implementation of all global field operation onshore processes. - Drive COQ reduction Process and documentation. - Support implementation of EHS and company best practices to reduce risk. - Drive excellence in schedule, cost, quality Utilize LEAN, process discipline and digitization tools to optimize regional site performance. Qualifications/Requirements - Significant general Leadership Experience - Proven Experience in Wind Field Operations and Sub-Contractor management. - Master or Bachelor / Certified Engineer in Engineering - Extended knowledge about business administration - Experience in working with multiple countries and cultures. - Strong leadership, planning, business and commercial skills - General skills about labor laws and work practice - 40-60% Travel Flexibility. Availability to travel on demand to locations within the region - Experience in leading changes to processes & guidelines. - Demonstrated EHS / leadership and management skills, which has resulted in successful projects. - General Knowledge in Wind EHS and Quality Procedures. - Ability to manage a portfolio of multiple complex projects - Customer service skills and mindset - Fluent in English Desired Characterstics - Six Sigma and Lean Skills. - International experience and Solid communication skills. - Good computer skills, MS office, excel, power point, word & etc. - Capability for working at heights. - Familiarity with GE Wind Energy operating functions. - Assertive approach and drive to achieve goals. - Ability to work in a matrix environment - Any additional region language As GE Vernova is a global organization, working across different time zones, and monitoring, reading and responding to contact outside normal working hours can be expected.
