About the Role: As Head of Digital Engineering , you will lead full stack software and data engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cutting-edge digital solutions. You will play a key role in defining and executing the digital engineering roadmap , fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing software and data engineering teams. Define and execute a forward-thinking digital engineering strategy aligned to business goals. Promote agile practices and a culture of learning, quality, and innovation. Software & Data Platform Development Oversee the design, development, and deployment of bespoke software and data solutions. Ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures across all platforms. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to align technology with organisational needs. Innovation & AI Integration Champion the exploration and adoption of AI/ML technologies to address complex business challenges. Lead prototyping and experimentation with emerging digital tools and platforms. Drive data-driven decision-making and predictive analytics initiatives. Governance & Quality Assurance Establish best practices for software and data engineering, testing, and documentation. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory requirements. Promote engineering excellence and continuous delivery standards.
