Location: Riverwood office, with projects across south Sydney and Illawarra region Salary: $170,000–$230,000 Super Sector: Residential / Mixed-Use Development Our client is a well-established property developer with a strong pipeline of Class 2 residential projects across Sydney and regional NSW. They’re seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead projects from acquisition through to delivery, ensuring compliance, quality, and commercial success. About the Role This is a hands-on, end-to-end development role overseeing feasibility, planning approvals, design coordination, and construction delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage the full development lifecycle for Class 2 residential/mixed-use projects. Lead site acquisition, feasibility analysis, and financial modelling. Coordinate DA/CC/OC processes and stakeholder approvals. Ensure compliance with NCC Class 2 and DBP Act requirements. Liaise with architects, planners, builders, and contractors. Deliver projects on time, on budget, and to specification. Prepare board papers, investment briefs, and development reports. About You 5 years’ experience in property development, ideally in Class 2 residential. Strong working knowledge of NSW planning and building regulations (DBP Act, RAB Act, NCC). Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and approval processes. Background in development, construction, or project management. Tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction, Urban Planning, Engineering, or related field. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Why Apply?
