Remedial /Structural - Façade / Forensic Engineer Location: Western Sydney, NSW Type: Full-time Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience The Opportunity Our client is a fast growing, well regarded, and focused remedial and forensic engineering consultancy with a growing presence across Sydney and regional NSW. They deliver high-quality building diagnostic and remedial solutions, supporting a diverse client base of law firms, property owners, and strata managers. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Remedial, Façade or Forensic Engineer to take on a technically rewarding and career-defining role. You'll work across a range of structural, façade, and waterproofing investigations — providing practical solutions that enhance building performance and longevity. Key Responsibilities Your work will be varied, hands-on, and impactful, including: Conducting detailed site inspections and diagnostic assessments of residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Investigating and analysing structural and waterproofing failures. Preparing comprehensive technical and litigation reports detailing causes, extent of damage, and remediation strategies. Developing detailed design documentation and collaborating with drafting teams to produce regulated design drawings. Overseeing project delivery from investigation through to remediation, ensuring quality outcomes and client satisfaction. Providing mentoring, technical guidance, and leadership within the engineering team. Assisting with structural monitoring programs, data interpretation, and reporting. About You You'll bring a strong mix of technical capability and practical experience, including: Degree qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering. Proven experience in remedial or forensic engineering, including building diagnostics, structural assessment, and defect reporting. Strong understanding of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards . Excellent technical report-writing and analytical skills. Strong communication and client management abilities. Design Practitioner registration (or eligibility) under NSW DBPA legislation is highly desirable. A current driver's licence and full working rights in Australia.
