A well-established engineering specialist is expanding into Melbourne and seeking a motivated, commercially-minded engineer to join their new office. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical design, estimation, and business development within a growing, dynamic team. The Role This newly created position is ideal for someone who thrives on variety and impact. You’ll: Lead preparation of design concepts and estimates for civil and geotechnical projects. Identify business opportunities in the Victorian civil and infrastructure market. Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to support bids and project planning. Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership to convert opportunities into delivered projects. Play an active role in shaping the Melbourne office and its growth strategy. About You Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or similar. Experience in design or estimation within geotechnical or civil projects, or strong civil/infrastructure estimation experience. Commercially minded, confident in preparing cost/estimate models, understanding scope, risk, and margin. Energetic, ambitious, and proactive — a true go-getter. Strong communicator and relationship-builder; able to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients. Melbourne-based! Why Join?
