A Northern QLD hospital requires a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice from 10/11/2025 to 08/02/2026. SHIFTS: SMO with FRACGP/FACCRM and ED Experience, preferably with advanced Obstetrics or Anaesthetics ASAP – 31.01.26 – multiple positions o CRITICAL DATES – ASAP-30.11.25 05.01.26 – 08.02.26 – GP Obstetrics only The hospital is a 49 bed level 3 general hospital which sees approximately 18,000 attendances and 200 births per year. There are 9 SMO, 7 PHO (full year and rotational) and 1 medical registrar. There are 4x 10 hour shifts per week, shift times being 0800-1900 with procedural oncall 1900-0800 (if applicable up to 3 shifts per week) or 1030-2130 with standby oncall one shift per week.
