The Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for the operational, clinical and professional management of staff and resources, fostering collaboration, accountability and excellence across the unit.  This role is responsible for: Leading, directing and coordinating nursing care in the Urgent Care Centre Managing staff and resources to deliver safe, efficient and patient-centred care. Fostering effective multidisciplinary partnerships and leadership across the Mernda Community Hospital site. Ensuring that patient flow, rosters, and service delivery are aligned with best practice and operational efficiency. Promoting a culture of enquiry, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement in patient care.  This position is fixed term part time (64 hours per fortnight) until June 2027  To be successful in this role you will have: Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA Relevant post graduate advanced clinical qualifications Relevant management tertiary qualifications, or working towards Experience in leadership (Acting NUM, Nurse in Charge or acting in-charge, team building opportunities or leadership experiences external to workplace).  Next Steps . . .
