About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team. This role will see you managing multiple commercial projects, typically ranging between $5M – $50M and covering a variety of environments, including but not limited to Education, Healthcare, Retail and Entertainment. Working closely with both internal project teams and external stakeholders, you will play an integral role in planning, coordinating and supervising all electrical projects undertaken by the company. The role will be typically office based but will the candidate will need to spend time on the sites attending site meetings and inspections. Responsibilities Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Work closely with the design team to ensure that electrical systems are designed to meet the project requirements Ensure that all work is carried out to the required quality standards and within the project budget Manage project risks and develop contingency plans where necessary Maintain accurate project records and provide regular project status updates to senior management and clients Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the project team Attend regular project site meetings as required Assist with contract administration on new projects Process variations, progress claims, RFI’s and subcontracts for commercial projects Develop and implement the organization's OHS program, policies, and procedures Provide advice and guidance to management and employees on OHS issues Benefits and Perks Competitive salary package dependant on experience Secure and consistent pipeline of high-profile commercial projects Career development opportunities within a growing organisation Collaborative team environment with supportive leadership Based predominantly from their Gippsland office but will require regular site presence Be part of a business with over 20 years of proven success, growth and stability Requirements 5 years’ experience as an Electrical Project Manager in Australia, demonstrating the ability to plan and manage complex projects Ability to run Multiple projects simultaneously and have a proven career history of multi-tasking, working on AS4000 contracts Strong technical knowledge of electrical project management on commercial projects In-depth knowledge of OHS regulations, standards and regulations Proficiency with project management tools/software such as Simpro Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong reputation and long-term pipeline of projects.
