Boilermakers, Pipe Welders, Riggers & Trades Assistants – Ballarat CIL Tanks Project One of ETA’s clients is currently seeking experienced Boilermakers, Pipe Welders, Riggers, and an SMP Supervisor to join the next stage of a major construction project in Ballarat, Victoria. This phase involves building 8–10 Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) tanks for a gold processing facility, including fabrication, deck installation, and associated pipework. This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing team on a significant regional project kicking off early January. What’s in it for you? • Competitive flat hourly rates (including super) – Boilermaker/Welder (BMW) – Pipe Welder – TA/Rigger – Crane & Franna Operators • DIDO 3:1 roster (13th day off) • Accommodation and meals provided for non-local workers • 4–5 month project with potential ongoing scope • Work on a large-scale regional gold project • Weekly pay cycle – Every Friday • Join a supportive, safety-focused crew What is needed to be considered? • Relevant Trade Qualification (Boilermaker / Welder) or HRWL (Rigging / Crane) • White Card (mandatory) • EWP, Working at Heights, and Confined Space (preferred) • Proven experience in tank or structural fabrication – CIL or mining background highly regarded • Ability to pass weld test (for Welders) • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A • Local or regional candidates preferred (Ballarat, Bacchus Marsh, Bendigo, Geelong, Melbourne) • FIFO only considered as a last resort Why work for Engineering Trades Australia?
