Mechanical Trade Assistants - Port Botany Project Great Rate Penalties | Ongoing work | Supporting BMW & MF teams on site Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking experienced Mechanical Trade Assistants for an ongoing industrial project based at Port Botany, NSW . You'll be working alongside Boilermakers, Mechanical Fitters, and Pipefitters on site, assisting with installation, maintenance, and mechanical works. What's on Offer: Great Rate penalties (OT, weekends) 10 hour shifts , 5 days per week, up to 10 on sat Long-term, consistent work with leading contractors Safe, team-focused environment with strong site culture Key Duties: Assisting Boilermakers and Fitters with mechanical and structural works General labouring, moving materials, and preparing work areas Supporting shutdown, installation, and maintenance activities Basic tool operation, bolt-up, fit-up, and mechanical assembly tasks Working safely in confined spaces and at heights Maintaining site cleanliness and assisting with daily setups/pack-downs Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical TA in industrial or shutdown environments Confined Space & Working at Heights tickets (mandatory) White Card High attention to safety and ability to follow direction Full and unrestricted Australian working rights This is a great opportunity to join a solid crew on an established Port Botany project with strong prospects for ongoing work.
