Due to continued growth within their Estate Planning team, they are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an office-based role. The Role Working closely with Solicitors and Partners, you’ll provide high-quality administrative and procedural support within the Estate Planning team. You will manage client communication, prepare key documents, and assist in keeping matters running smoothly from start to finish. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Preparing initial drafts of estate planning documents Drafting correspondence to clients and external stakeholders Managing client onboarding, gathering information and maintaining up-to-date records in the practice management system Coordinating and scheduling client appointments and managing lawyers’ diaries Acting as a primary point of contact for clients, providing a professional and empathetic experience Maintaining and organising client files, both electronic and physical Assisting with billing, trust account tasks and month-end processes Conducting basic legal research and preparing supporting documentation as required Providing general administrative support including scanning, filing and document formatting About You The successful candidate will bring proven experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant within an Estate Planning, Wills or Probate practice. You’ll be detail-oriented, client-focused and enjoy contributing to a supportive team environment. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Previous experience as a Legal Secretary/Assistant in an Estate Planning or Wills & Estates team (essential) Strong document preparation and formatting skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management systems Professional, proactive and collaborative approach to your work The Benefits: You will be rewarded with genuine career development opportunities and an attractive salary package.
