They are now seeking an experienced Estimator to join their professional team and contribute to their continued growth and success. About the Role As the Estimator, you’ll play a key part in securing and planning projects through the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that every proposal reflects sound technical understanding and financial viability. Key Responsibilities: Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing Prepare and submit professional tenders and quotations Monitor and update estimates based on scope changes Participate in pre-tender meetings and planning sessions Assess project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities Maintain and update databases of materials, suppliers, and subcontractors Support project handovers to ensure a smooth transition to delivery teams About You You’re a detail-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With your strong analytical mindset and understanding of construction methods, you can balance precision with efficiency to meet tight deadlines. To be successful, you’ll need: Proven experience as an Estimator in building or civil construction Relevant qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar Strong numerical and analytical skills Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Solid understanding of Australian building codes and regulations Please note: We are not able to process applications from candidates on working holiday visas or those seeking sponsorship.
