With a strong commitment to innovation, safety, and client satisfaction, we are expanding our team to include a dynamic Construction project Manager Position Overview: We are seeking motivated and experienced Construction project Manager to oversee and manage the planning, organisation, direction and coordination of engineering and building projects. As the construction project manager, you will be responsible for managing resources, ensuring project timelines and budget are met, and collaborating with with various stake holders to deliver successful project outcomes. Key responsibilities: Resource coordination: Lead the coordination and prioritization of resource across multiple projects to ensure optimal allocation. Project planning and organisation: Asses and interpret architectural drawings, specification, and project requirements to ensure effective project execution. Procurement and Delivery: Coordinate the procurement and timely deliver of materials, plant and equipment. Stakeholder Engagement: Consult with architects, engineers, and other professionals, as well as manage relationship with technical trades and workers. Time cost and quality management: Oversee the monitoring of time, cost and quality and risk throughout the project requirements. Negotiation: Effectively negotiate with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to meet project requirements. Tender and contract development: Develop tenders and contract bids, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budget. Compliance and safety: Manage adherence to legislative industry standards, ensuring safety protocols are followed throughout the construction process Regulatory Approvals: Mange the submission of plans to local authorities and liaise with relevant stakeholders for necessary inspections. Team leadership: Lead and manage human resources, including subcontractors, ensuring high standards of performance and the successful delivery of project milestones. Change Management: Manage the implementation of changes and adjustments to project plans to align with strategic goals. Project alignment: Develop and manage project plans to ensure that they align with with program objectives, strategic goals ,and overall project outcomes. Key skills and qualification: Proven experience in construction project management or a similar role within the construction industry Strong Understanding of construction process, architectural and engineering drawings, and project management software. excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills. In depth knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, industry standards Strong problem solving abilities and proactive approach to project management. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management or related field are preferred.
