About Us: The work of the Student Child and Family Connect team is critical in maximising days of learning for children and young people (K-12), with or without active enrolments where there are complex vulnerabilities requiring multi-agency support to engage in continuous schooling. Why this Role? Responsibilities include: Provide high level strategic advice to senior officers of the department and other key stakeholders on issues relevant to the specific accountabilities of the role. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including working collaboratively, within and across schools, settings, agencies and organisations to implement collaborative strategies to ensure the effective implementation of Early Childhood and State Schools Division priorities for all students in state schools. Contribute, as a member of the senior management team, to setting and co-ordinating strategic direction and activities ensuring the effectiveness of youth engagement within the department's priorities.
