The Shire of Boddington is seeking a motivated Strategic Project Manager to join our team. This position will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of key strategic and community projects that support the Shire’s Housing Strategy, the revitalisation of tourism and community facilities in key precincts, the development of tourism experiences such as mine tours, and the Aged Accommodation Project, a collaborative partnership with an external provider to deliver quality local care for older residents. Key responsibilities include: Lead and deliver projects that implement the Shire’s Housing Strategy, including housing supply initiatives, partnerships with developers, and facilitation of residential land development. Serve as the Shire’s lead on the Aged Accommodation Project, coordinating collaboration with the external provider and other partners to deliver accessible and sustainable housing options for older residents. Work with industry partners to support economic initiatives aligned with the Shire’s economic development goals. Prepare reports, briefings and presentations for Council, funding bodies and other stakeholders. Carrying out end-to-end procurement activities, including preparation of tender documents. Performing project and contract administration tasks. The successful candidate will have advanced project management skills with experience in a similar role, excellent interpersonal skills, an authentic commitment to engagement processes, and experience in delivering high-quality outcomes. The position offers: Salary package between $123,900 and $141,600, including superannuation, with a cash component of up to $120,000. 32 - 38 hours per week, working an 8-or 9-day fortnight.
