About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Pajingo. This residential/BIBO role is based in Charters Towers, QLD, on an 8/6 roster. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will lead your direct reports to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality electrical maintenance across all surface operations. The role is focused on driving plant reliability and performance while meeting planned maintenance schedules and shutdown targets in a safe and effective manner. Key Responsibilities Your areas of responsibility will include: • Processing Plant and Crushing Circuit. • Administration offices, stores, and workshops. • Tailings dams and associated electrical infrastructure. • HV Room, transformers, aerial cables, and power lines (A19 & N18 B line to B3, C line to C11, D line to D7 & F line to F7). • Potable water treatment plants, town and transfer station pumps. • Telemetry radio links, fuel farm, and flood water alarm systems. Core duties include: • Participating in department safety meetings. • Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture. • Ensure the Processing Plant availability is maintained at a minimum of 98%. • Ensure the Crushing Circuit availability is maintained at a minimum of 92%. • Achieving weekly and quarterly maintenance and shutdown targets. • Driving continuous improvement across plant performance and reliability. • Managing team rosters, training, and performance. • Identifying and implementing process and efficiency improvements. • Overseeing contractor activities and ensuring compliance with site standards. • Developing and implementing new electrical work procedures where required. • Maintaining accurate electrical maintenance records About you To be successful in this role you will ideally possess: • At least 5 years electrical experience in Mining, Commercial or Heavy Industry. • Supervisory experience • Leadership skills and ability to motivate a small team • Experience in High Voltage applications. • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of budgeting and cost control. • Strong computer knowledge of SAP, Excel, Word and Outlook. • Knowledge and understanding of Industry Standards and a working knowledge of the Electrical Act and Regulations. • Demonstrated experience with management of contractors. • Ability to plan and schedule projects Culture and Benefits With a strong growth strategy in place in a progressive, vibrant culture where your skills can truly make a difference, this is a great opportunity to join the Maintenance team at our Pajingo operations and to play a role in developing a culture of excellence that motivates and inspires those around you.
