Life Saving Victoria (LSV) is seeking an experienced and creative Lead Specialist – Marketing to drive the organisation’s marketing strategy, campaigns, and brand presence across the state. This senior specialist role is a 12-month maternity leave placement, ideal for a hands-on marketer who thrives on project management, creative collaboration, and purpose-driven work. About the role Reporting to the Senior Manager - Media, Marketing & Communications, you’ll lead the development and delivery of strategic marketing plans and projects that support LSV’s executive team, business units, and volunteer network. You will: Lead and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, events, and blackspot safety projects. Build and maintain sponsorship and partnership opportunities, ensuring effective performance and reporting. Manage LSV’s brand identity and visual standards across all channels, guiding internal teams and design partners. Lead planning and delivery of key events, working with volunteers, contractors, and government stakeholders. Oversee the development of engaging digital content, including updates to the LSV website and social media. Oversee key organisational publications ensuring clear, impactful storytelling. Contribute to team operations through budget oversight, performance reporting, and contractor management. This is a dynamic leadership opportunity for someone who loves working across multiple projects and stakeholders, from local lifesaving clubs to government partners, all while promoting the vital work of LSV. About you You’re a confident communicator and strategist with a knack for turning complex ideas into compelling campaigns. You bring both creative and analytical thinking to your work, thrive under pressure, and have strong stakeholder management skills. Essential experience and qualifications 5 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, with proven project management capability. Exceptional writing and editing skills with experience tailoring content for diverse audiences and channels. Strong understanding of digital marketing and campaign development. Current Victorian Driver Licence and availability for occasional after-hours or event work. Possess (or be able to obtain) an Employee Working with Children Check. Desirable Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or public relations. Experience working within a purpose-driven, government, or not-for-profit organisation. Why join LSV?
