A Day in the Life We have an exciting opportunity for a Territory Manager to join our Aortic & Peripheral Vascular Health (APVH) Sales team in Sydney. In this role, you will be driving sales growth and market share by promoting our Peripheral Vascular & Endovascular portfolio to key surgeons and clinical staff within the Northern New South Wales territory including Sydney Metro to Wagga Wagga region. The Aortic and Peripheral Vascular Health is one of the fastest-growing businesses within Medtronic. Peripheral and Endovenous therapies are a critical part of the Medtronic vascular portfolio, treating patients with a broad range of conditions, including Peripheral and Carotid Disease, End Stage Renal Disease, Peripheral Embolization, and Superficial and Deep Venous Disease. We lead the way in the Superficial Venous and Drug Coated Balloon markets, caring for hundreds of millions of patients globally with lifesaving and life-enhancing therapies. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Achieve sales revenue and market share targets for a specified territory, by promoting our range of Aortic & Peripheral Vascular Health and Endovascular products and clinical service to vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists Understand the clinical and service needs of customers and provide highest level of clinical service and technical support to customers while seeking out efficiency Provide best in class clinical case support to optimize clinical outcomes for each procedure. Be well organised and practice good territory management of inventory, case support calendar, administration and expenses Train appropriate medical staff on case planning, product preparation, product deployment and procedure steps Collaborate with other Clinical Territory Managers (CTM), Clinical Specialists (CS), Market Development Specialists (MDS), Business Development Managers (BDM), Business Manager (BM) and Marketing to develop and execute business plans Play a lead role in quarterly business reviews (QBR’s) for your specified territory and actively contribute to the broader state QBR Build an awareness and begin accessing key influencers, key hospital stakeholders and leverage relationships to execute on account strategies Pro-actively manage case coverage requirements, effectively engaging CSs and other CTMs where most appropriate Support sales activities by assisting in presentations to healthcare professionals on related educational and training topics Practice effective communication by feeding back information regarding commercial and clinical opportunities and intelligence to relevant CS, CTM, BDM and other divisional staff. Utilize Salesforce.com Consistently set and meet quarterly performance goals Support clinical study activities in conjunction with the Clinical Research Manager Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory in each location relative to demand Complete cycle counts of all required field locations on time and follow up on any missing stock Retrieve all expiring product from field locations and return to the warehouse prior to expiry Travel requirement: less than 25% Required Knowledge and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Nursing or Business related discipline Minimum of 3-5 years of proven clinical sales experience &/or clinical experience in hybrid suites, angio lab and operating theatres Strong understanding of the Australian public and private healthcare system Advanced understanding of internal workings of hospital labs/ theatres / departments e.g. purchasing, consignment, clinics, patient & implant scheduling and key influencers Solid clinical and technical knowledge with the ability to build strong working relationships with key surgeons and other medical staff Comprehensive knowledge of account planning, territory management and forecasting Self-motivated with a resilient attitude, striving to exceed customer expectations and deliver outstanding results Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software Maintain a valid driver’s licence Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
