Synergie is seeking Machine Operators for a mesh and steel bar manufacturer located in Salisbury South. Our client is a trusted leader in producing high-quality mesh products and steel bars. Pay rate: $37 per hr (incl casual loading) penalties Hours of work: Day shift - 6:00am - 2:00pm - Monday to Friday Afternoon shift - 2pm - 10pm - Monday to Friday (afternoon shift will attract afternoon shift loading) The Role: As a Machine Operator , you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the production of mesh and steel bar products. Your role is essential to ensuring smooth production processes while maintaining safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor machinery, including automatic and semi-automatic systems, for the production of mesh and steel bars. Use of overhead cranes (training provided) Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment to ensure efficient operation. Conduct quality checks throughout production to ensure that all products meet industry standards and specifications. Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and timelines. Qualifications: Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment (experience in mesh or steel production is a plus but not essential). Have been exposed to physical industrial work, with repetitive manual handling up to 20kgs. Strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to troubleshoot and maintain machinery effectively. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to upholding safety standards.
