Reporting to the Center Manager, this role leads and mentors a team of qualified technicians and apprentices and is responsible for : Oversee daily workflow, job allocation and repair order management. Conduct quality control inspections and ensure diagnostic accuracy. Support hands-on servicing and repairs where required. Manage parts, stock and workshop operations end-to-end. Drive safety, compliance, and workshop efficiency. Liaise with members, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain RAC’s reputation for quality and care. What are we looking for in you? Automotive Trade Qualification (Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology). C-Class Driver’s Licence and Motor Vehicle Repairer’s Licence . Proven leadership skills to be able to motivate, guide, and develop your team. Strong technical expertise in servicing, diagnostics, and fault-finding. Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving ability. A genuine passion for delivering workshop excellence and member satisfaction.
