Kitchen Attendant - 14/7 & 7/7 roster, 10-hours, $29.53 - $31.52 p/h The role consists of supporting our Chefs and catering team, food preparation, making fruit platters, salads and crib meals, assisting Chefs when directed. Keeping high standards of food safety and hygiene, cleaning and tidying service areas, assisting with unloading deliveries, stocktakes and other ad hoc jobs in the catering team. Availability to work on a 14/7 or 7/7 roster cycle, DIDO, 10-hour shifts each day. We’re looking for candidates with: Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11, highly desirable Ability to travel into/ out from site at own expense Hands-on experience with commercial/industrial cleaning and catering services Ability to maintain strict health & hygiene standards and systems Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure Friendly and considerate attitude to promote a positive work environment Unrestricted work rights in Australia To be considered, you must have or be willing to obtain: Must have an Australian Driver's License (must be any Australian State) Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen A recent National Police Check - or willing to obtain Have a current Food Safety Certificate or willing to complete our free online food safety certificate Have a current QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or willing to obtain SIRROM, a trusted industry leader and provider with 50 years in Life Support and Facilities Management, is expanding!
