About the Role We’re seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to oversee site operations north of Adelaide with support across additional soil recycling sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and leading by example with around 80% fieldwork and 20% management. You’ll work closely with the General Manager acting as their right hand to drive productivity, safety, and operational excellence across multiple locations. This is a full time permanent role Monday – Friday hours 7.00am – 4.00pm. Key responsibilities include: Operating and overseeing machinery such as dozers, loaders, diggers and water carts. Supervising day-to-day site operations and leading a small team. Managing budgets, site costs, and productivity via digital reporting systems. Coordinating project work, interpreting site and soil rehabilitation plans. Supporting and upskilling a leading hand and transitioning teams from labour hire to permanent staff. Providing hands-on assistance and resolving site challenges as they arise. Skills and Experience Proven background in earthmoving, quarrying, rehabilitation, or soil recycling. Strong hands-on machinery operating skills across multiple plant types. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or team-lead role. Ability to read and interpret operational or rehabilitation plans. Confident using digital systems for reporting and cost management. Current tickets for 2 or more of the following: HC, HR, LL, LZ, LF, LE, LR, LS, LB. Current Driver’s Licence (mandatory). (Desirable) First Aid, Fire Warden, and asbestos handling certification. Flexible and adaptable with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
