We're currently seeking an Internal Sales Representative for a well-established national supplier of industrial gases, welding equipment, and safety products. Based in Alice Springs , this role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with customers, building relationships, and contributing to the success of a close-knit branch team. About the role Working closely with the Area Manager and wider team, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service across counter, phone, and email sales. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you'll combine sales support with warehouse and showroom duties. Your day will include: Assisting customers in person and over the phone with orders, quotes, and product information Processing sales and maintaining accurate pricing and stock details Supporting account management and following up on customer enquiries Maintaining product displays and ensuring the showroom is well presented Collaborating with the operations team to ensure smooth order fulfilment Representing the business professionally with a strong focus on service quality What you'll need Previous experience in sales, customer service, or trade counter roles Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Confident computer literacy and ability to learn product systems quickly A proactive, team-oriented approach with attention to detail A reasonable level of fitness (some manual handling involved) Full working rights in Australia - full-time hours required Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test Experience within the welding, industrial, or gas products industry is highly regarded but not essential.
