The Role We're looking for a motivated Harvest Assistant to join the team in Ballarat, VIC for the upcoming harvest season. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the agricultural research and field operations industry, working across outdoor trial sites and sample collection areas. You'll be part of a supportive crew committed to accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced, physical environment. Key Responsibilities In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting field trial and harvest operations through accurate, hands-on work. Your duties will include: Collecting, assessing, and processing crop samples Carrying out field work, including trial maintenance (weeding, hoeing), trial assessments, and sampling activities Maintaining accurate and reliable records of field data and results Following safety procedures and ensuring field equipment is handled correctly Benefits Pay rate: $33.19 per hour plus penalty rates Duration: 2-3 months seasonal position Hours: Approx. 40 hours per week, with flexibility during busy harvest periods Gain practical agricultural and research experience with an industry leader Work in a supportive, outdoors-based team environment Your Skills & Experience You're an organised and reliable worker who enjoys being outdoors and contributing to productive agricultural operations.
