About the role We are now accepting applications for the permanent position of Asset Inspection Supervisor. Applications are invited from candidates located within Essential Energy’s operational footprint . While all eligible applicants will be considered, preference will be given to candidates based in or near our Coastal operational area, as the role requires regular onsite presence within this area. Our Coastal operations area includes locations such as Tweed Heads, Ballina and Grafton. The Asset Inspection Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational issues for their regional team, combining a strong customer focus with the need to meet key business indicators, targets and objectives. The Asset Inspection Supervisor will support the Asset Inspection Manager in delivering the Asset Inspection Program. This includes overseeing the inspection of pole and wire network infrastructure, driving continual improvement, managing scheduling, reporting, and auditing, while promoting a strong safety culture and providing high-quality customer service to Essential Energy’s stakeholders. About You Accomplished project and program management professional within the energy sector, specialising in power distribution construction and maintenance. Experienced in leading multi-disciplinary teams of contractors and internal staff to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient project delivery. Skilled in contract administration, performance management, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on continuous improvement and fostering positive working relationships across all levels of the organisation. Your commercial acumen, leadership capability, and ability to influence stakeholders enable cost-effective and sustainable business outcomes. Adaptable and results-focused, you combine strong decision-making with excellent communication and relationship management skills. Highly proficient in business systems and reporting, you produce clear, accurate documentation and thrive in dynamic, team-oriented environments. Required Qualifications Advanced Diploma in Program Management or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications. White Card - WorkCover Induction for Construction Work - General Course Driver’s Licence.
