About the role: Key Responsibilities Assist in the execution of internal audits under the guidance of senior auditors. Develop a foundational understanding of internal audit methodologies and internal control systems. Understand and perform audit testing in accordance with internal audit methodologies. Gain working knowledge of electronic audit tools and systems, such as Auditor Assist. Maintain accurate personal documentation, including training records, time sheets, and expenses. Complete allocated tasks in a timely and professional manner. Progressively develop the ability to document internal control systems accurately. About you: Education Requirements Essential: A tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related field with a major in Accounting. Tertiary qualifications in a STEM discipline is also acceptable. Commitment to commence further studies toward a relevant professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA) or postgraduate qualification within 12 months of starting the role. Demonstrated Experience & Attributes Essential: Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a professional setting. Receptive to constructive feedback and committed to personal and professional development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn audit and data analytics tools.
