The Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Allied Health Coordinator to join our Health and Wellbeing Team. This is an exciting and diverse role supporting GPC’s occupational health, rehabilitation, and mental health strategies. Reporting to the Health and Wellbeing Lead, you will help design, implement, and manage key health and wellness programs and processes across the business. This role is ideal for a passionate allied health professional looking to make a real impact within a complex, dynamic organisation. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and support occupational health initiatives with a strong focus on ergonomic risk assessments, early intervention strategies and preventative health programs. Champion psychosocial risk management and ensure alignment with relevant mental health and wellbeing legislation, and with best practice. Deliver initiatives aligned with GPC’s People & Safety Strategy and Mental Health Strategy. Support GPC’s rehabilitation programs, including Return to Work, WorkCover, Fitness for Work, Health Monitoring, and Injury Management in collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and sustainable reintegration process for employees. Facilitate internal consultation processes and maintain strong, collaborative stakeholder relationships to embed a culture of health and wellbeing. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, project updates, fact sheets, and health bulletins to communicate progress and insights. Provide professional and administrative support to the Health and Wellbeing Lead and broader team. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of health-related governance, procedures, and documentation. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Current registration as an Allied Health Professional (e.g. Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, etc.) with AHPRA or equivalent. Tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health or Health-Related discipline. Demonstrated experience in occupational health, rehabilitation, and psychosocial risk management. Strong understanding of relevant legislation (e.g. WHS Act, Workers' Compensation). High-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. A collaborative, values-driven approach with a passion for health and wellbeing. Current C-Class Driver’s Licence . Desirable: Experience in large, complex organisations or heavy industry environments. Qualifications in Occupational Health or Mental Health. CPR & Occupational First Aid certification. Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
