These roles can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint . 1 x 12-month fixed term contact 1 x Permanent About the role As a Senior Full Stack Developer at Essential Energy, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting highly scalable web applications for enterprise systems. You’ll work across the full software development lifecycle, applying best practices in architecture, coding, and automation. Collaborating with technical and business stakeholders, you’ll ensure solutions meet business requirements and deliver outstanding user experiences. Your expertise will help drive innovation, maintain compliance, and promote continuous improvement in our digital products. Key responsibilities include: Design, develop, and implement enterprise software solutions using agile practices and defined frameworks. Build full stack solutions for web application development projects, ensuring functionality matches requirements and design. Promote automation controls for development, source control, release, and support activities. Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and business leaders to deliver solutions that meet defined business needs. Monitor solution health, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements in application stability and performance. About You You are an experienced developer with a passion for building robust, user-friendly web applications. You thrive in agile environments, bring strong technical skills across front-end and back-end technologies, and have a strategic mindset for solving complex problems. Your communication skills enable you to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you’re committed to continuous learning and improvement. To be successful, you will have: Extensive experience building web applications using modern front-end languages and frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, React, Angular, Vue.js). Strong working knowledge of C# and .NET framework, with experience in cloud-based applications on Azure. Skilled in designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Practical experience with Agile software development methodologies and automation tools. Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a focus on delivering outcomes for the wider team. Prior working experience with google maps or similar mapping solutions in a web set up is highly desirable but not mandatory. Required Qualifications Bachelor Degree of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
