Job Summary Martinus is seeking an Environmental Advisor to support us on the Inland Rail Albury to Parkes Project. This position will be site-based and will suit someone local to Albury region or open to working on a FIFO arrangement. Tasks and Responsibilities Coordinate and provide day-to-day environmental support to internal stakeholders. Plan and oversee environmental monitoring programs associated with cultural heritage, water, waste, noise, and air. Conduct required site inspections and audits. Provide interpretation of results and regular progress reports against environment and sustainability performance targets Collaborate with construction teams on environmental management requirements to ensure that we meet our obligations and improve performance. Support the environmental systems needs of the business including implementation, regular reviews, and continuous improvement. Assist in the management of environmental issues, including incident investigations. Maintain ISO14001 Accreditation requirements. Implement the Project’s sustainability strategies including the Sustainability Management Plan Submit permits and approvals as required. Collection of data and analysis of subcontractor and supplier sustainability performance Promote compliance in project environment and sustainability matters, delivery of training, toolboxes and awareness programs. Develop strong relationships with clients, councils, regulators, and other community stakeholders.
