About the Job: Position: Key Account Manager (Petbarn Account) — Australia Location: Ideally Sydney or Melbourne (covering key Petbarn clusters across NSW/VIC; occasional travel to QLD/SA/WA as needed) About Us: Addiction Foods is a premium pet nutrition company. We’re growing across ANZ and seeking a field sales pro to own and grow our Petbarn retail channel. What You’ll Do: Own store-level execution for Petbarn: visit stores, build relationships, grow shelf & secondary displays, and ensure perfect merchandising and pricing compliance. Deliver sell-in/sell-through targets: plan promotions, manage stock flow with distributors, and track weekly results. Train Petbarn teams: run bite-size product trainings and new launch briefings; be the on-ground brand ambassador. Activate locally: plan and run in-store demos, events, and micro-campaigns with clear ROI. Territory planning & reporting: optimize call cycles, submit visit reports/photos, and surface insights to Marketing/Sales. Problem-solve: address OOS, RTVs, planogram gaps, and competitor activity fast. What You’ll Bring: 3 years field sales/merchandising experience in FMCG or pet specialty (multi-store retail environment). Strong store relationship skills; confident trainer and presenter. Data-driven and organized—comfortable with KPIs, call cycles, and CRM/Excel. Valid AU driver’s licence; able to travel. Full working rights in Australia. Pet/pet-care passion is a big plus. KPIs: Same-store growth & distribution gains. Planogram compliance & share of shelf. Promotion execution & event ROI. Training coverage & store engagement scores.
