As the IT Road Manager, you will take ownership of the technology roadmap — planning, coordinating and driving the execution of IT initiatives that align with business strategy. You will work at the intersection of technology, operations and business stakeholders to ensure IT projects, infrastructure upgrades, and systems implementations are delivered on time, within budget, and deliver measurable value. You will also monitor the health and progress of our IT roadmap, manage dependencies and risks, and ensure that all initiatives support business goals and operational stability. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the IT roadmap: define, prioritise and track strategic initiatives (infrastructure, applications, cloud, cybersecurity, digital services) aligned to business objectives. Engage with business stakeholders (e.g., business heads, operations, finance, regulatory) to understand needs, define IT project scope, business cases, benefits, and resource requirements. Lead planning of IT programmes and projects: schedule key milestones, define deliverables, identify dependencies, resource requirements and constraints. Monitor project and programme execution: track progress against roadmap, manage project portfolio health, escalate issues, mitigate risks, resolve dependencies, and ensure benefits realisation. Manage vendor and supplier relationships for projects and infrastructure: define SOWs, monitor performance, ensure deliverables, coordinate with internal teams (procurement, legal, etc.). Ensure alignment of IT roadmap with governance, compliance, risk management and security framework: work with IT security, architecture and risk teams to embed controls and standards in projects. Drive continuous improvement of IT processes and conduct post-implementation reviews: assess whether roadmap items achieved expected outcomes and learn lessons for future. Manage budget and cost tracking for roadmap initiatives: monitor CAPEX / OPEX spend, support business case justification, ensure value for money. Communicate status, dependencies, issues and outcomes to senior leadership: produce reports, dashboards, presentations, drive transparency and decision-making. Promote change management and stakeholder readiness: ensure users are engaged, trained and prepared for upcoming changes as per the roadmap. Provide leadership, mentoring and coordination across cross-functional teams (IT infrastructure, applications, operations, business analysts, project managers).
