Our client is a leading residential builder in Perth and is seeking to appoint a Head of Human Resources to lead the people strategy of this fast-growing business known for its strong culture, passionate team, and unwavering commitment to its customers. Purpose of the Role To lead and inspire the people strategy — building a high-performance, values-driven culture where the team thrives, customers feel the difference, and the business continues to grow sustainably and proudly. The Head of HR together with the executive leadership team, will lead the cultural heartbeat of this business, ensuring the people strategy delivers both passion and performance across every level of the organisation. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Partner with the Managing Director and Executive Team to align the people strategy with the business plan and vision. Shape workforce planning, leadership capability, and organisational design to support growth. Culture & Engagement: ‘One Team’ culture — uniting people through shared values, trust, and purpose. Drive engagement, wellbeing, and belonging through authentic communication and recognition. Talent & Capability Development: Build and deliver programs that grow leaders and empower every team member to reach their potential. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning to ensure the right people are in the right roles. Performance & Systems: Embed a performance framework focused on accountability, clarity, and continuous improvement. Use HR technology and analytics to drive smarter, faster, people-led decisions. Governance & Risk: Ensure compliance with employment law, safety, and ethical standards. Manage employee relations with transparency, fairness, and care. Change Leadership: Guide teams through organisational change with empathy and confidence. Help the business adapt, evolve, and grow while protecting culture and morale. What You Bring 8 years’ HR leadership experience, ideally within construction, property, or a fast-paced commercial environment. Strong capability across culture, talent, performance, and organisational development. Commercial acumen with a people-first mindset. Exceptional communication, coaching and relationship-building skills. A grounded, empathetic, and values-driven leadership style. Resilience and adaptability – you enjoy change and help others navigate it confidently.
