Nextt Group is seeking a friendly, reliable, and engaging Casual Disability Support Worker to join our passionate team. This role supports clients across Brisbane’s Northside, including Zillmere, within Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes and community access settings. You’ll be providing high-quality, person-centred support—supporting daily living, promoting independence, and helping clients work toward their personal goals. About the role In this role, you will: Provide support with daily living activities, personal care, and community access Support clients with psychosocial disabilities using trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approaches Perform manual handling tasks safely and in line with individual support plans Administer or assist with medication support as required Accurately complete progress notes and report concerns in a timely manner Shifts Working hours vary and may include: Standard shifts from 9:00am to 5:00pm Early morning shifts from 5:00am to 9:00am Sleepover shifts Additional support shifts as required Pay Rates E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL) SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax): Base hourly rate: $35.15 Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $38.67 Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $39.37 Saturday: $49.21 Sunday: $63.27 Public holiday: $77.33 Your Certificates and Licences: NDIS Workers Screening Check (Current) Working with Children Check (Current) Australian Driver's License Comprehensive Insurance on Vehicle NDIS Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You First Aid and CPR (Current) Make every shift count.
