The Company: This Events Supplier manages event, exhibition equipment and infrastructure for events right across Australia. With offices across the country, they are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their Sydney team. Position Terms: Full-Time Permanent Role Working full-time in the office Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 plus super depending on experience The Role: The Account Manager will be responsible for the sales and promotion of products and services to new and existing clients, through the successful implementation of agreed strategies and account management of exhibitions and events. The Account Manager will have responsibilities across sales and event delivery for assigned accounts. Key Responsibilities include; Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Source new clients through industry networking, established contacts and maintaining an awareness of upcoming bids and tenders. Prepare quotations, bookings, bids and tenders. Prepare schedule of rates and where possible establish multi-year contracts Prepare floor plans and detailed drawings, including operations schedule information sheets and site maps. Prepare and distribute a comprehensive schedule incorporating all critical timings and people involved. Coordinate and conduct accreditation and briefings for all staff involved to the crew leader level. Liaise and co-ordinate installation and removal logistics with other contractors and organisers. Liaise with relevant Government departments for necessary permits and approvals. Conduct site visits to ensure quality of work and stock and that work is proceeding according to schedule. Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of the job after completion, including any changes/additions during the event. The Candidate: The successful candidate will have experience working as an Account Coordinator or Account Manager within the events industry. Excellent sales and client management skills are essential for this role. Strong customer service and client relationship management skills. Operational savviness and the ability to deliver events on-site. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work autonomously and in a larger team. Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Ability to travel occasionally travel interstate for events when required. Ability to work outside of normal hours and weekends for events when required.
