HC DRIVER – Road Ranger / HIAB / Oversize Experienced Location: Yard – Prestons (Sydney & Newcastle region) Employment Type: Casual (with strong potential to move to permanent post‑Christmas) About the Role We are seeking an experienced HC Driver to join a busy transport team delivering frames, trusses, and building materials to residential construction sites across Sydney and Newcastle. This role is based from our clients Preston's yard and offers casual employment initially, with the opportunity to transition to permanent after the Christmas break. Key Responsibilities Operate a Heavy Combination (HC) vehicle with road‑ranger gearbox, HIAB crane, and oversize load experience. Deliver frames, trusses, and building materials to residential sites safely and efficiently. Load and unload materials, liaising with site crews and following delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, vehicle inspections, and logbook requirements. Assist with general yard duties as needed. Hours & Workload Standard hours: 7:30 am – 3:30/4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (38 hours per week). Opportunity for overtime for those wanting extra work. What We’re Looking For Valid HC licence with proven experience on road‑ranger vehicles and HIAB-equipped trucks. Experience handling oversize loads. Comfortable with regional work, covering Sydney and Newcastle areas. Up to date driving record Strong commitment to safety and professionalism. Good communication and teamwork skills.
