The Opportunity Peregian Springs Country Club is a resort-style retirement village, home to 230 villas & units. As our Maintenance Officer, y ou will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, upkeep and repair tasks around our retirement village. Working closely with the Community Manager and residents, you will enjoy spending time outdoors, connecting with residents and making Peregian Springs Country Club a thriving community. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday-Friday 7-3pm What we offer $31.55/hr relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances superannuation Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance Program Discounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providers Be part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living community Your Impact You will attend to various maintenance requests to create a safe and pleasant environment for residents, visitors, staff and others (e.g leaf blowing, pool cleaning, light repairs etc.) Liaise with stakeholders to ensure projects undertaken are safe, timely and completed to a high standard Oversee maintenance work undertaken by Contractors within the community Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules What you will bring Experience in General Maintenance and 'Handyperson' roles, or domestic experience.
