As a Supervising Maintenance Technician, you are second in charge of the branch engineering team under the Engineering Manager. Together with the team you are responsible for Equipment Support, Process Improvement, Facility & Utility Management and Safety. Reporting to the Engineering and or Branch Manager, your key responsibilities are: Start Up and Shut Down of plant equipment including the Boiler Preventative Maintenance Corrective Maintenance Breakdown Resolution Equipment Training and coaching and support to Engineering team members Supporting Equipment research & procurement Managing Spare Parts Conducting Risk Assessments Providing day-to-day direction to Engineering team members Supporting the WHS team in writing Safe Work Procedures (SWPs); and Supporting the Engineering or Branch Manager and Support Office teams to implement the LEAN Manufacturing initiatives including 5s Requirements: Boiler ticket Electrical License Hands-on mechanical background
