Field Service Technician - Mechanical / Hydraulic / Electrical $45-$50 per hour OT Company Vehicle Tools Provided Based in Western Sydney (Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm, flexible hours) We're seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join a reputable team providing maintenance, repair, and installation support across a range of mechanical and hydraulic equipment. This role suits a hands-on tradesperson with strong technical knowledge and a focus on safety, quality, and customer service. What's on offer: $45-$50 per hour based on experience Company vehicle, tools, phone, and tablet provided Overtime paid at penalty rates Monday to Friday roster, 7am-3:30pm (some flexibility required) Ongoing, full-time opportunity with long-term stability Key responsibilities: Install, service, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections to Australian Standards Complete service reports, checklists, and documentation accurately Liaise directly with customers regarding service and repair work Communicate with Service Coordinators on parts, scheduling, and site updates Work safely in accordance with SWMS, PPE, and all WHS requirements Participate in call-outs or overtime when required Maintain tools, vehicle, and equipment in excellent working condition What we're looking for: Mechanical, Hydraulic, or Electrical trade qualification (Certificate III or equivalent) Proven experience in field service or mobile maintenance work Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and fault-finding skills Excellent communication and customer service ability Current driver's licence and full Australian work rights Ability to pass site compliance checks (drug & alcohol, police, WWCC, etc.) If you're a hands-on technician who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working directly with customers, this role offers the chance to join a supportive team and be well rewarded for your skills.
