Job Description The Senior Counsellor provides clinical leadership and day-to-day support to student counsellors within the Australian Counselling Service Clinic. This role ensures high standards of client care, student learning and operational efficiency, enabling the Practice Managers to focus on overarching administration, compliance and marketing functions. Support and supervise student counsellors , including daily guidance, case discussions, client interaction support, and escalation of complex matters. Deliver coaching and development , providing informal training, feedback, and input on additional support needs. Ensure quality client service , maintaining a safe, professional environment and monitoring client feedback. Provide operational assistance , acting as a contact point for student counsellors and supporting scheduling and clinic processes. Meet organisational requirements , including compliance with policies, reporting, and completing reasonable duties as directed.
