Sport and Recreation are seeking a suitably qualified and enthusiastic professional to join our ACT Academy of Sport (ACTAS) team as an Athletic Performance Coach. The Athletic Performance Coach will work within the Performance Services team that provide athletic performance, sport science and sports medicine services to selected athletes from Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games sports. The Athletic Performance Coach will work within a dynamic team and work collaboratively across all areas of ACTAS, alongside internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality performance services are delivered to ACTAS athletes. Eligibility/Other Requirements: The successful candidate must hold: Relevant University qualifications in Exercise Science, Movement Science, Sport Science or equivalent. Accredited Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) Level 2 Professional Accreditation. A current CPR and First Aid certificate. A current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required (or an ability to obtain).
